“Greek vases inspire me. They tell us a lot about ancient Greek society. My heart depicts a San Francisco street scene with references to Muni, the street-cleaning Green Machine, shopping for T-shirts, street musicians, road repair, a clash of cultures, etc. Perhaps in the future people will learn something about San Francisco in 2004 by looking at my heart. Now I just have to figure out how to get the wine in there.”
